This webinar will address the significant challenges faced by public health organizations in School Immunization Programs, particularly with respect to communication and parental consent collection. We will explore how electronic consent platforms can enhance communications between public health and parents/guardians, offer real-time visibility of completed consent forms and completion rates, employ automatic reminders to reduce the number of incomplete forms on clinic days, and minimize manual data entry for public health nurses by storing consent data directly in the system. Finally, we will present real-world examples of how eConsent can boost consent completion rates, and demonstrate how provinces, territories, and smaller public health organizations can utilize eConsent platforms to streamline school immunization clinics, allowing providers more time to focus on administering vaccines.
CANImmunize is a digital health company which has focused on building immunization software since 2012. Our journey began with the development of the CANImmunize App, used by hundreds of thousands of Canadians to track their families’ vaccination records. In December 2020, we partnered with the province of Nova Scotia to lead their COVID-19 vaccine roll-out, where we introduced ClinicFlow, an end-to-end immunization clinic management platform. To complement public health immunization efforts, we expanded ClinicFlow with an eConsent module designed to facilitate consent distribution and collection for school based immunization programs across the province.
