A discussion about the past, present, and future of global health law

  • 11 Dec 2023
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Hybrid Event

Please join us for a panel discussion on the past, present, and future of global health law and to launch a new Oxford University Press book: Global Health Law and Policy: Ensuring Justice for a Healthier World.  Global health law is the part of international law that deals with health, ranging from the World Health Organization’s Constitution and International Health Regulations, to international human rights law, and international trade law. Since the COVID-19 Pandemic, there have been moves to reform existing international laws and create new treaties to address the gaps within this framework. The panel will broadly draw from its participant’s work in these areas and in a new Oxford University Press book titled “Global health law and policy: Ensuring justice for a healthier world.”

When: December 11, 2023 Time: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ET Where: The panel will be hybrid and offered both online and at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health building at 155 College Street in Toronto, Room 650.
