The CGSHE's Gender and Sex in Methods and Measurement Research Equity Toolkit addresses two pervasive issues in health research: the misuse of gender and sex-related concepts, and the erasure of people who are marginalized and minoritized on the basis of their genders, sexes and sexualities. You'll be shown strategies for addressing these two pervasive issues when it comes to determining eligibility criteria, managing sample size for planned and ad hoc analyses, dis/aggregating data, measuring participants' genders and sexes, and much more. Come learn from Drs. Sari van Anders and Travis Salway, members of the project's expert advisory committee, and leave with the tools to design more precise, accurate and inclusive health research.
