Co-hosted by the Department of Political Science and the School of Public Health, this debate-style event will feature arguments in favour and against transforming the Chief Medical Officer of Health into a more independent position. Two teams of debators -- including Dr. Fafard and UAlberta faculty Dr. Elaine Hyshka, Dr. Hakique Virani, and Dr. Jared Wesley -- will participate.
