CMNCP’s 2023 conference aims to support urban and rural municipalities, Indigenous communities, agencies, groups, and individuals in their efforts to increase collaborative approaches to community safety and well-being in the communities and neighbourhoods in which they work, live, learn, or play.
Join community safety practitioners, people with lived/living experience, service providers, elected officials, and other stakeholders from across the country in-person where you will:
- Hear insightful presentations on community safety related topics, with a focus on collaborative practices.
- Network with practitioners, elected officials, people with lived/living experience, researchers, and key community partners.
- Exchange and share knowledge that can help strengthen your community’s safety.
The 2023 Conference will address several themes, including (but not limited to):
- Evaluating collaborative efforts in crime prevention and community safety
- Recognizing the importance of community organizations in creating safer communities
- Exploring the intersectionality of work between government officials and communities
- Identifying the challenges and rewards of collaboration in community safety initiatives
- Understanding collective impact and its role in crime prevention
- Exploring crime prevention through environmental design strategies
- Showcasing successful integrated multi-sectoral partnership models
To ensure inclusivity, French translation services will be available during the keynote sessions. We strive to create an inclusive and accessible conference environment, and we are pleased to inform you that the venue and conference hall are connected for your convenience. Additionally, a quiet and safe space will be provided for prayer and other personal needs. Gender-neutral bathrooms will also be available.

- Non-Members: $600 per ticket (a $50 discount will be offered on the first 50 tickets purchased).

- S tudents: $325 per ticket (student ID will be requested)
- C onference Speakers: $325 per ticket
Please note that the cost breakdown for each ticket category is for the entire conference duration and includes access to all sessions and networking events. Breakfast, lunch, and nutrition breaks will be provided for attendees.
