Health Canada will be hosting an information session to provide an update and way forward regarding negotiations on a strengthened global framework for the sound management of chemicals and waste beyond 2020 (Beyond 2020 process). This event will be hosted by Greg Carreau, Director General of Safe Environments Directorate with Health Canada, and the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) National Focal Point for Canada. The discussion and feedback at this information session will inform Canada’s position for the negotiations on the Beyond 2020 instrument.
