• Recognize the impact of safe, stable, nurturing relationships on children's development and health
• Describe the "keystones" principles of attachment, autonomy, and self-regulation
• Discuss, model, and praise specific parenting behaviors that promote early relational health and child development
• Identify resources to help incorporate concepts into resident training and clinical practice

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Paediatric Society for a maximum of 1 credit hour.
