Nutrition Education in Public Health: A Trust Model Campaign

  • 26 Jan 2023
  • 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
  • Webinar

Satter’s Division of Responsibility (sDOR) is the gold standard in feeding dynamics from birth to young adulthood for many practitioners. It has a strong evidence base and is the basis for advising parents and caregivers on child feeding in many settings. However, communicating sDOR through public health/community-based nutrition education campaigns is not without its challenges.

Hear from Sandy about her experiences as a public health dietitian developing and implementing a campaign targeted at parents/caregivers based on sDOR. She will share successes and challenges implementing the Trust me. Trust my tummy. campaign in her community. Participants will hear strategies for an effective public health campaign based on sDOR and will learn how to apply the Ellyn Satter Institute (ESI) tool for assessing public health nutrition education messages.

Pending approval from CDR for 1.5 Level II CEUs upon successful completion of the exam.   After 24 hours of the live presentation, you will receive an email from Zoom with a link to access the recording, exam and all associated handouts whether you attend the live presentation or not.

Cost: $30.00
