Public Health Partner Authorities: An Example of Health in All Policies Governance in Practice

This presentation is a part of Global Network for Health in All Policies (GNHiAP) activities. The GNHiAP is a country-led initiative awhose mission is to work with various stakeholders to address the determinants of health by strengthening the Health in All Policies (HiAP) approach. This presentation is being organized by Wellbeing SA, in collaboration with the GNHiAP, and aims to share South Australia’s experience in implementing Public Health Partner Authorities, drawing on the principles and processes of the state’s HiAP approach.

ABOUT THE WEBINAR
During this webinar you will learn about the evolution of South Australia’s approach to HiAP, including:
1. How the principles and practices underpinning South Australia’s Health in All Policies approach have adapted to respond to changing political priorities.
2. How public health legislation can support partnerships to improve population health and wellbeing outcomes.
3. How HiAP governance looks in practice through the implementation of Public Health Partner Authorities.
