Abstract:

This webinar will be shared from the perspective of an Elder, Wisdom Keeper and Spiritual Leader with contemporary issues: Ethics, assessments and technology on Mental Health.

Anishinaabe worldview encompasses the mind, body and spirit. Our Anishnaabe teachings on the mind are essential for an individual mental health and well-being. Our wholistic approach includes language, ceremonies, spirituality, relationship to one another and relationships to all of creation.

Bio:

A Spiritual Leader, Traditional Healer, Seer, Wisdom Keeper, carrier of the 8th Fire Prophecies, and the Ancient Thunderbird Calendar. She belongs to the 7th Fire and is a member of the Bald Eagle Clan. She is of the Potawatomi Nation (Keepers of Fire), and Jamandomac Nation (People with Excellent Memories); which is known today as the Ojibwa Nation and she is a proud member of Wasauksing First Nation.
