OCFP: Caring for patients with alcohol use disorder

  • 26 May 2021
  • 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Community of Practice (Virtual)

This community of practice -- part of the Practising Well initiative -- was built by family physicians, for family physicians, to connect in real time with, and learn from others who are working with patients to address their mental health, substance use disorders and chronic pain.

The Practising Well Community of Practice is anchored by monthly virtual sessions, where we’re creating a safe space for you to engage with experts in the field, ask questions, and improve your practices and support one another.

The Ontario College of Family Physicians has partnered with the Division of Mental Health and Addiction at the Department of Family and Community Medicine to deliver this community of practice.

Upcoming Community of Practice Session

The next of these monthly virtual sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 26 from 8:00 to 9:00a.m and will focus on caring for patients with alcohol use disorder.
