We have all had to change the way we work in response to COVID-19. Keeping up with new guidance, responding to the changing environment, and navigating uncertainty has become the new normal and at times can be overwhelming. The COVID-19 Community of Practice is a space for family physicians across Ontario to connect and learn from each other during this challenging time.

Every 2 to 3 weeks, hear updates from experts on the latest COVID evidence and policy and connect with fellow family physicians on practical ways to innovate and address COVID challenges on the ground. Sessions are highly interactive and designed based on attendee questions. Each session is recorded and shared after the event along with the session slides, resources, and FAQ.

This COVID-19 Community of Practice is a joint initiative from the University of Toronto Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) and the Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP).

Strategies for an equitable recovery and the latest on 4th doses, immunity and more

Please join us for the 42nd in our series 'Changing the way we work' on Friday, April 8th at 7:55-9:15am. How can we approach COVID recovery in a way that helps close the gaps in health equity? We’ll be reflecting on this question and hearing about some innovative community-based work happening in one region of Ontario. We’ll provide an update on identifying and connecting high-risk patients to COVID treatments. We’ll also hear from an Infectious Disease specialist on where we are with COVID, 4th doses, what it means to be “immune” and more. As usual, we’ll leave lots of time to answer your questions.
