Title: Global Vaccine Market Shaping

Bio:

Clarke Bhandari Cole is a Research Fellow at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Governance, Accountability, and Transparency in the Pharmaceutical Sector at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, and a Senior Associate on the Global Vaccines Markets team at Clinton Health Access Initiative. Clarke is currently seconded to the COVAX Facility where she has been involved in design and operationalization of the Facility, and more recently focuses on communications to economies participating in COVAX. At CHAI, she works to improve access to vaccines in low- and middle-income countries, with a focus on Indian-supplied vaccines and improving access to vaccines in middle income countries that have historically received limited donor funding. She also leads the team’s work to promote healthy markets for pneumococcal and rabies vaccines. She previously worked at the Access to Medicine Foundation, and has conducted global health research for organizations including LSE Health, the Global Strategy Lab at York University and the Centre for Ethical, Social and Cultural Risk at St. Michael's Hospital. Clarke holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Hons.) from McMaster University with a specialization in global health and a MSc in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
