Indigenous Health Conference: Building Our Future

The 4th biennial Indigenous Health Conference (IHC): Building Our Future is the largest Indigenous health conference in Canada and will focus this year on young people’s mental health and cultivating youths as agents of change and future leaders in healthcare for Indigenous communities. Alongside the over 200 academic presentations, the conference includes a job fair promoting employment opportunities for health professionals nationally in Indigenous and underserved communities.Join us in addressing the huge health disparities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples at this interdisciplinary conference where we bring together hundreds of participants including Indigenous peoples, health care providers, researchers, and experts in the field to share current knowledge of health issues impacting Indigenous peoples and potential solutions to reducing the gaps.
