The 2022 Anti-Oppression in Health Care and Sciences Symposium will showcase presentations by learners at the U of T Faculty of Medicine.
Join us in challenging oppressive and exclusionary social, institutional, and structural factors that create barriers, and in highlighting resiliency of patients and learners from marginalized communities. Together we will create pathways to more inclusive spaces in health-related education and increase health equity.
Detailed agendas will be shared closer to the events, however the day will consist of learner presentations and a panel discussion on the topic of learner challenges, barriers and strategies in engaging in anti-oppressive research and initiatives.
Audience: All U of T staff, students and faculty members are welcome and encouraged to attend the Symposium.
Platform: The Symposium will take place via Zoom meeting. It is recommended that attendees install the latest version of Zoom.
