  • Webinar

Over the past year the everyday lives of people around the world have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Confinement, financial constraints, health concerns and other stresses have all had the potential to change health-related behaviours. But how has COVID affected smoking?

This webinar is an opportunity to hear from researchers who have been surveying smokers in Canada and other countries during this period, to learn how the sales of tobacco products in Canada were affected and to exchange thoughts on what we should take from these developments.

Presenters:

• David Hammond, University of Waterloo
• Shannon Gravely, University of Waterloo
• Robert Nugent, Health Canada

Hosted by the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit and Physicians for a Smoke-Free Canada
